Men Elite race info

Course
The Men Elite will start in Beersel this year, in the beautiful setting of the Provincial Domain of Huizingen. A 162 kilometer race awaits the riders, featuring 21 climbs along the way. After the start, the peloton will head towards Lennik before returning via Beersel to Overijse, where the steep climbs that define De Brabantse Pijl await. In Overijse, the riders will complete three traditional laps of approximately 20 km, including Hertstraat, Moskesstraat, Holstheide, and S-bocht Overijse. Download the timetable and roadmap below.

Programme
On Friday, April 18th, Flemish Brabant sets the stage for De Brabantse Pijl, the traditional transition from the Flemish cobbled classics to the Ardennes climbs. Discover below the programme for a packed day of racing!
Provinciedomein Huizingen is the setting for the start of the men’s race:

From 10:00 to 18:00, Herman Teirlinckplein will be transformed into an experience square where cycling enthusiasts can follow De Brabantse Pijl up close. Thanks to the large screen, you won’t miss a second of the action, and both the men’s and women’s races will pass by.
Local producers and cafés will offer a variety of food and drinks, with cozy terraces where you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of the race. In the Municipal Party Hall, you can visit the Demarage op den Alsemberg exhibition, which highlights the history of De Brabantse Pijl.
For the youngest cycling talents, a Mini De Brabantse Pijl will be organized: a balance bike race for children aged 1.5 to 4 years.
In Overijse you have the chance to spot the Women and Men Elite no less than eight times! The local lap over Hertstraat, Moskesstraat and Holstheide makes for a tough race with many altitude metres. The women and men finish with the climb of the S-bocht in Overijse on the way to the finish on the Brusselsesteenweg.

Results 2024
Benoit Cosnefroy has won the 64th edition of De Brabantse Pijl. The Frenchman was the fastest in a sprint from a small group and beat Dylan Teuns and Tim Wellens. Cosnefroy succeeds his teammate Dorian Godon.
